1. ... Ne3 !

If they think you think it's the Budapest, it may help.

You obviously need a deeper combination though. 🙂

He didn't move.

He has seven played games and six in progress which adds up to 13 games but if you look in his public games he has 15 total. The logical conclusion is that this game did NOT affect his stats.

Thanks.
He never moved. He lost a game without knowing anything about it. Don't worry, I know him and he's not bothered.

Because set pieces don't affect stats. Also, when I play him I play unrated anyway. I know him and know I can beat him. I play unrated so I don't ruin his rating.

Which means you cannot ruin somebody's unbeaten record using this method. 🙂

You can't affect the rating but it would show up as a loss. So somebody with an unbeaten record would no longer have an unbeaten record.

The win/loss record is a part of their stats and I already mentioned that he has 13 games that have affected his stats and 2 games that haven't.

If someone challenges me to a game I would assume I get the option to accept or decline. From what is said here I understand the game starts anyway and I get the option to delete.Correct or am I misunderstanding things?

The game starts and finishes but it does NOT affect your stats in any way.

I don't think people understand... You can start a game with anybody accepting challenges... You can start a set piece game where you can win without them knowing anything about it. It will count as a loss.

I don't think you understand. If you look at the game it will say one "White wins: Checkmate" but it will NOT show up as a loss on their win/loss record.

It will. It did. It won't be rated though.
