The thread was bigger than that... it was more about why Skeeter wasnt banned in the face of "overwhelming evidence" of match rates and dissecting that evidence... not just in relation to Skeeter but any user. Apparently admin would rather that is not discussed. A forum moderator should have put the reason for the thread closure as the last post in the thread. Now we can only guess again.. where have I heard that before.

I don't think David Tebb has ever claimed that he has reported Skeeter for engine abuse in chess. All information I am aware of is that s/he was a borderline case.

I remember a few years ago DT did mention he was amazed at how few draws she had, saying something along the lines of "i don't know how she does it"...i took that to mean he might have had suspiscions about how she did. Don't ask me to find the thread though, it could be 5 years old now...

The last sentence of the DT post in the skeeter thread, 25th Sept 08, OTB players suggests otherwise, so far as I can tell.

I know exactly what DT thought on the matter. But he owns his own voice, and can speak if he chooses

Interestingly, I have exactly the same post in my mind. However, the last sentence didn't state that he reported her/him for engine abuse.
