a bit off topic, sorry, but is there going to be any human vs machine match involving a grandmaster in the foreseeable future? I searched the web and couldn't find any clear plans.
I'm the author of Vicki - I chess engine wannabe. Plays terrible and is still a work in progress. I found this position so fascinating (thanks greenpawn34), that is it now part of my test cases.
I fed the position to the engine and left it to think. This is the best line that it came up with in about 13 minutes:
