So recently a very good friend of mine sent me this in the post as a present:

You have pieces set on a 4x4 board, and the aim is to capture a piece with each move until only 1 piece is left.
No King-checks, no castling, no en-passant, and no pawn promotions.
All you do is capture pieces... Quite refreshing!
I am stuck on one of the advanced ones (I haven't even got to the "expert" ones yet)
Here's how the pieces are set:
- Pawns on a1 and c2
- Rook on b2
- Knights on a3 and b4
- Bishops on d2 and d4
(Hide your solutions if you want to have a go!)
What do you guys think of this concept?

Ok this is the first one of the expert ones.
I've admitedly only spent 5 minutes looking at it, but feel would be good to share for you problem solvers out there 🙂
place the pieces as follows:
Bishop on a1
Pawns on b1 and c4
Rooks on a2 and d4
Knights on c2 and d3
