Soooooo tempting!

Do you ever find yourself playing wild moves that you are almost sure dont work but play them anyway because they just look sooooo sexy. The following position occoured in a 25 min game on playchess. Id already saced the exchange to expose his king a bit....then in this position I saw Qe5 might work......the temptation was too great 😛



Qe5 isnt as bad as it looks like at first. Re8 can be met with cxd5 and Rxe5 is just met by Nxe5 and then dxc6....of course black doesnt have to take the queen and the simple Qd7 holds everything for black 🙁

So far ive resisted the temptation do play unsound, sexy moves here on RHP because I know the other guy has time to figure out my cheesy ploys 🙂 In a speed game, I would have gone Qe5 in a hot second!

black, after considerable amount of thinking, decided to try something speculative and played 13...Ng4. After that the game was soon to be over.

chess is not sexy, thats going way too far.
