Wow... with what accuracy? I go on as a guest and get to about 1600 with mid to high 80s in accuracy percentage and sometimes break into the 90s after 200 problems.. if I go for a high rating I can usually get to 1800+ but with a dreadful accuracy of 70-

mine is at the low 1440 with 89.8 accuracy now. and there's seems no sign of improving both at the same time, or at least keep the rating going up while holding on to the accuracy. I simply can't hold the balance.

My goal has always been to keep the accuracy at least at 90, and after having solved several thousand problems, it takes a lot of problems (several hundred) to make a change of 0.1, and I know for sure if I make up my mind to get it back to 90, I would sink down to 1350 something again. this makes me real sad, especially after heinzkat's 1500+ rating with 99 accuracy. I can't even visualize myself in that situation, ever. f%&£! 🙂

Login as a guest then you can practice a lot of positions without worrying about accuracy. Then when you are good create a new account and try to get a higher rating with a 90+% accuracy.

start from the beginning? after almost 9K problems? no way. I've made my inaccuracies and now I have to deal with it.

What does it matter how many problems you have done? The real point is to measure your progress... it's not like you have to delete your old account.

I think to measure my progress, I mean from the beginning, maybe more than a year back, I should hang on to my account. it would make me so much more satisfied if I can manage 1600+ with this account (keeping the accuracy).

Well, you could still login as a guest to get practice without having to worry about accuracy.

I don't see how I could benefit from that. I mean afterall there's a legitimate testing system, and no one forces me to it, so I don't see a point to kind of trick that.

It's not about tricking, it's about seeing the higher rated problems. It's just a way to play fast without worrying about accuracy so that you can get the patterns into your head.

Today I busted 1800 with 91%... after only a hundred problems though.. then I started missing a bunch and my rating and accuracy both went down. I was in the low 1700s with 79% after 300
