The KG is one of the things I don't quite get in chess. What does white get form it? And this is a serious question.

Edit:it is quite the mental opening... Have to try it out sometime.

It seems to be fun to play with if you know what you're doing and that's not my case for now. But when I fell confident about myself I'll try to work it out.

White played very wild (and not 100% correct) but anyway - nice game 🙂

Yes! White played a very wild game, but black didn't got to play at all. I mean his queen and rook never moved. The king was thrown all over the board and if he didn't resign he would have been checkmated in the first rank. Quite the long walk for black's monarch!

I don't think that bishop sac was a pseudo-sac... it was a real sacrifice meaning that black probably could have fought back if he played correctly... but its hard to see the first mistake black made... maybe g4

And that is the beauty of it.

well... I guess that depends on your personality. I think that move (Bxf7) creates more suspense then it does beauty. In my humble opinion, there is more beauty in a sacrifice that forces mate rather than a sacrifice that doesn't. Either way though, it is still an exciting game.

I see beauty in it cause from that point on white has to play with supreme caution. And both of them are strong players. One thing is a strong player attempting that against a patzer like me another one is against another strong player.
