I actually liked DD sorry to see him booted

Its a pity when 2 such active players both in games and on the forums get the boot for such avoidable reasons.

I did not see what either posted that was so offensive so assume it was removed before I got a chance. I also assume he was warned not to continue and choose to ignore those warnings - that was silly of him but I would welcome DD back if he decided to behave himself.

He has always been friendly towards me. I became rather surprised that he was banned.

Maybe you should take a look at what he posted. The thread may be gone, but if you Google for it you'll find it. I hope you have a strong stomach though as you'll need it.
