I'm not a GM or anything, but there's about 500 or so games of the English in there against variuosly skilled players. Any questions about a particular game or move, just PM me.
I would recommend looking up Korchnoi's games in one of the online databases if you would like to see it at the GM level.

Other comments: As in that game (which went into the Grunfeld Defense), it's really easy to go into QP games.

I must warn you though I've been working on my opening lines quite a bit 😉 You might not escape with a draw 😛

I have found from experience that Black can not equalize if he/she plays 1...e5?!

As far as your comment about 1...e5, maybe with perfect play black won't equalize, but that's probably true with any opening. Black's practical chances are about as good as any other opening at any rate.
