This game (Game 631302) offers a nice
example of pinning. Maybe to learn from for us lesser players.
I think my game is slowly improving, and better grip on tactics
is the reason. If you like me is a substandard player and want to improve without having to study tons of books. Look up basic chess tactics on the net. And learn to watch for chances to use them.

Probably wont help us much against stronger players, but hey, you gotta start somewhere :-)

Comments on the game are welcome. (another way to learn :-) )

I stil have a big problem with Bishops pinning my Knight with my
Queen or King. When do you move h3 a3 h6 a6?

Depends, really. If you can safely play Qd3 (assuming a Bg4 pin), then there may not be that much of a need to play h3. OTOH, playing h3 preemptively may be dangerous if the opponent can sac his bishop to open up the K-side (assuming 0-0). But, I find that call tough most of the time.
