This is an interesting option for black in the Qxd5 Scandi. Here are the opening moves...
1.e4 d5 2.exd5 Qxd5 3.Nc3 Qd6
The Scandinavian is becoming slowly more accepted (Although I still have some major doubts about it...) and it seems to be a strong weapon for low level players that wish to avoid theory. The 3...Qd6 move was first brought to my attention by a National Master who uses it. Needless to say I wasn't (And still am not...) convinced that it's a very solid choice for black. However when you're playing lower level players I think it's sound. At the higher levels stick with the Sicilian 🙂 (The Dragon especially!). Anyhow, on Chessgames this comes as the number 2 Qxd5 variation (obviously following 3...Qa5). Supposedly play usually follows 4.d4 Nf6 5.Nf3 a6 with a slight edge to white. However I'm thinking about taking this opening up to play against 1100 and 1200's (When I am forced to in tournaments) here on RHP because these guys simply refuse to play the Open Sicilian... So, any thoughts on it, or any games with it?

As a player who enjoys attacking the center counter can be slightly annoying, its often pretty hard to break down blacks position.

and vs 1200ish ppl, I usually just play 1. ...e5 because it's less thinking for my part than the sicilian and you find lot's of 2 Knights Defense and 4 Knights games (which I find absurdly easy for black because you never see 4. Ng5 vs the 2 Knights at this level and the 4 Knights has no ambition at all imo) and ZERO Lopez games which can drive me away from 1. ...e5.
