I've been chasing all the chessboard trying to net an elusive butterfly
called the 'Trick of Tricks' for many years now.
I've had it in a blitz game and skittles but they don't really count.
Another chance (just finished today.) has slipped through my greasy fingers.........One day.

1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bb5 d6 4. d4 Bg4 5. d5 a6 6. dxc6 axb5 7. cxb7 Rb8 8. h3 Bh5 {Ah Good. I can use that Bishop on h5 for a wee trap.} 9. Qd5 {Now is he going to play the most obvious move on the board?} 9... Qd7 {Yahoo!} 10. Nxe5 dxe5 11. Qxe5+ {I recall looking at 11...Be7 12.Qxh5 Nf6 he is getting a load of the Big D for the pawns but if the worse comes to the worse I can always give the pawns back.} 11... Qe7 {This I never saw coming. I declined the b5 pawn (with a check) because the e-pawn and g2 pawn are going and I'll be 0-0-0. I don't want to give him an open b-file.} 12. Qxh5 Qxe4+ 13. Be3 {Now I wanted him to play 13..Rxb7 and I get 0-0. Because I knew if he played....} 13... Qxg2 {...I'd spend ages looking at saccing both Rooks with 14.Nc3. And I did. I can't see it, if there is a win after the double Rook sac then I never found it. Back to here and looking for any reason NOT to play 14.Rf1 I spotted the 'trick of tricks' .} 14. Qxb5+ {Not worried about opening the b-file now as I intend to take the Queens off. My opponent now played 14...c6 which gave me after 15.Qe5+ the b8 Rook with check and he resigned. Here is line I was was chasing.} 14... Kd8 15. Qg5+ Qxg5 16. Bxg5+ f6 17. Be3 {Threat = Ba7 I needed him to take the b7 pawn right away to set him up for the trap.} 17... Rxb7 18. Nc3 {All perfectly logical, and now I would have spent a wonderful few hours/days waiting to see if he fell for....} 18...Rxb2 19. 0-0-0 {Winning the b2 Rook. The Trick of Tricks.}

Nice!
I put a lot of (admittedly simpler) traps in one little blitz game in a post here Thread 148309.
It didn't really get many responses. I'm not sure whether it was because it was an RJ thread or just really not that interesting. You may find the last little mate (from a trap backfire) amusing.
I did see them. (I look at everything.) I got caught up looking this position for a while
To see if there was any remote Queen trapping trick or good flight of fancy line for White
after the Bishop goes. Saw nothing worth mentioning .....eventually.
