I am totally new to this forum and playing online. But I am shocked how long some people take to move. Are some taking it far too seriously. It gets really frustrating. Putting me off playing to be honest.
Fantastic looking site tho and the sense of humour some have comes across well!
Before playing someone look at how many moves they do per month to get an idea if they are a frequent mover or not.
Another thing to do is become a subscriber, enter a load of tournaments, join a couple of clans and before you know it, you will wake up every morning with a couple hundred games or more waiting for you to move.
If you want a lot of action this is the way to do it

Who could forget that poor polar bear floating around on that slab of ice? Very sad even though it was animated and not a actual polar bear.:'(

The biggest weakness of it is that sometimes it does not see lines very deeply, plus its evaluation function sometimes hovers too close to equality when one side has some clear advantage.
I kinda like the attitude guys. Very friendly. What download engines do you recommend? I have that GNU 5.0 and it seems pretty decent.....
Originally posted by YugaCheers mate. I wont be needing it to go "too deeply" though I reckon 😀 I am not that good but thanx for the download....

The strongest engine download is the one sitting on top of your shoulders.
It's called a head, inside the head is a brain.
On the front of the head are two eyes.
You use the eyes to look at the board and the postiton of the pieces
is relayed to the brain.
The brain will think.
Now at first some of you will get scared of this new sensation and wonder what
is happening.
Stay with it, enjoy it, pretty soon you will get....An Idea.
The pleasure this brings cannot be surpassed.
Has Greenpawn has discovered a new fix.
No. It's what EVERY good chess player did before 1980.
And if it were not for all of these great players producing great games and
new ideas then the game would have died out a long long time before 1980.
Give it try.
(if you don't have a brain buy HeinzKat's - it's unused).
