but they just don't care.
somehow, that stupid little numbr next to their name on a free chess site is more important than improving their game, unlike some of us, who are here for that reason and that reason alone.
as far as I'm concerned, the only loss from cheaters is the good people you mentioned who get offended and leave.
personally, when I play a user's engine rated 2700, i get better than when I play the 1300 person. so, let them cheat! it only makes us honest people stronger!
The real cheaters wouldn't be hanging out in a chess forum since they have no interest in chess talk. If they are in a forum it would most likely be the General Forum.
Problem is, by posting in the general forum you will get people telling you to take your chess topic to the chess only forum. ^_^
