Why are so many of the tournaments for players ranked 1800 plus? Many of us are 1500 / 1600 but there is sweet football association for us.
Not sure why.
Tournament 26483 for example has been open since July. Tourneys used to start after two weeks full or not but that feature seems to have gone.
Originally posted by @ragwortThe tournament entry band system was overhauled a little while back, but I will be refreshing it again shortly. Every band was previously evenly distributed over the ratings of all existing eligible players (subscribers) over the number of bands specified.

This will be changed to reflect the ratings of those who actually participate in tournaments. (Clearly, some top rated player subscribing players do not, which results in unfilled higher bands)

Originally posted by @ragwortTournaments do auto-start still, but only if the minimum number of entrants required is exceeded. This may still be set too high on some existing tournaments, as a glitch was setting this to the same as the maximum number of entrants for a while.

Originally posted by @russThanks for sorting. It needs thinning somehow. With so many open top banded tournaments it's a job to guess which might fill first!
