I think we want to waste a move and then mate via ... Ka5, Qb5#
we can't move the pawns. Any move of the queen allows Kxa3 and mate is more than two moves away.

Therefore
Kb7, Ka5 (b5 is denied as it is on the queens diagonal), Qa6# (the hard part was realizing b4 is covered by the a3 pawn).


All done without a board or diagram in about a minute and a half.

thats impressive. i could not find the mate in two at all. although i didnt spend much time looking after i found mate in three
