Well I just walloped at blitz by a 1360 player - took too many
liberties - (underestimated him) - lad played well though so have
no excuse.

Sandbagging is going into lower rated tournements not resigning or losing on time with all his games, so unleess he has done that he isn't a sandbagger.

Clearly were I graded my true grading they wouldn't let me in.

You did enter banded tournaments after your rating was brought down 1000 points (give or take) a few months ago due to a bunch of timeouts and resignations.

Call it sandbagging or something else or whatever you like, but it's not very nice.

I would do a lot better if I didn't have any perspective on how good an opponent is or is not. If I see someone is rated a lot lower I tend to be quite a bit less careful. This is not a good practice when playing chess.
