I've looked quickly to see if the trail goes any further, although there are some suspicious accounts, these are the only ones im certain are being used to manipulate ratings.😛

I think it should be a relatively simple affair to run an IP check on these accounts and ban them, if identical.

In this case yes. Cannot do that generally though because different people who are on the same network could have the same IP address.

A - It will never really have a big effect, as the further from the 1200 starting point a player gets less the benefit will be
B - As soon as the player in question plays someone else reality will kick in pretty quickly
Let's face this is probably kids having a bit of fun. Let's keep this forum for chess.🙂
