Ford 427 SOHC ( "Cammer" ). Dynamometer results of the day showed the SOHC Hemi producing almost 700 HP in crate form (100 hp per liter), before any modifications by the purchaser. Banned by NASCAR.

Thats more powerful, of course a car with this would probably take off and kill a vast section of the crowd, but it would certainly go....
It crossed my mind, but I was unsure of whether a thrust/rocket engine counted as a true engine.... I suppose it should, and you are made of win, congratz sir!
The human heart would struggle to get a mini out of its parking space, .... not sure it could be classed as the best engine as its use is very limited... I:E mostly in humans...
I have been hearing good things on the new Shredder program
One of these days I will finally get something...all I have is an old copy of Chessmaster that won't even work with my computer.
But I guess most people think that Fritz is still the best
As for engines...my dad and I dropped a 350 into a 71 240z...now you wanna talk fast! lord we had to sell it...couldn't keep the thing on the road...would still leave a 10ft mark in 4th
Fritz (many features, analysis, good engine strength, playchess.com)
Chessmaster aka The King (good especially for beginners and intermediate players and even good for experts)
Shredder (good engine strength, databases, etc)
Rybka (strongest engine)
Hiarcs or Deep Junior (take your pick both are good)
