I would suggest the latest available version of Rybka. But to give yourself an edge try splashing out on some really expensive hardware to run it on, and give it plenty of time to work on each game, not just a few seconds.

Good luck, there are some seriously strong engines in that tournament so you'll have your work cut out!

They are all engine tournament now.

Edit: Though it's nice to see that User 422492 won't be wrecking any more tournaments. He must have set a record for spoiling the most tournaments in the shortest space of time.

I have one of these, pretty overclocked one too. And it is full of engine paranoia. When do we get back our game mod team again instead of fair play ticket ??

Had one of those once - it's crap.

It kept leaving pieces hanging and was totally useless at endings.

Eventually I bought Fat Lady's brain for £10,000.

Expensive? Yes, but it was unused.😀

I resemble that remark and I shall report you to Russ. He is English, like me, and so will doubtless take my side.

But so am I. Born Bethnal Green Hospital 1951.

I want my money back this brain cannot handle alcohol, plays chess badly
and it likes music by Duran Duran and Kylie Monogue.

13 tournament wins in 5 months. Amazing.

and he was in every club except Club 75, the only club dedicated to non engine users.

Rybka 3 will be out in a few days, and it's expected to be 100+ elos stronger than the previous version, which was already 100+ points higher than the likes of frtiz, shredder etc.

How about a car engine? This paranoia is unhealthy.
