Second one is Legal's Mate. Black can refute the combination with 6... Nxe5!

Type 1 is often called scholars mate.
Type 2 does not have a name but is a relatively well known theme against the phillidors defence when black gets the opening slightly wrong.

How about 6. h3 Bh5 Then 7. Nxe5. If 7... Nxe5 then 8. Qxh5 Nxc4 9 Qb5+ and white is up a pawn.
An interesting variation on Legal's mate can be found in this game, where the same sacrifice is used for a winning attack. It just came to mind because in this game white needs 8.h3 Bh5 to make it work as well. And it's pretty &^%*ing beautiful, check it out.
