What do you think the most important piece is other then the king?

I think the pawn is the most important piece.

What is you favorite opening?

Mine is the queens Gambit.
Favorite piece: i like bishops when they are paired, but i dislike knights when they are paired. my ranking of preference:
1. Bishops Paired
2. Bishop + Knight
3.Knights Paired
4.Single Knight
5.Single Bishop

but, when it is all said and done, I prefered paired rooks to anything. gimme that h file baby!

2. Impossible to answer, pieces all have their strengths in weaknesses. Depends on what mode the game is in(opening, mid-game, ending) and wether it is closed or open.

3. I ussually open with 1.e4 and go from there. If you try to play kings indian, i will hit you will scillian and try to take you on the g and h files. If you try to play scillian defense, I like to spring the smith-morra gambit. If you play 1 ...e5 I will ussually play ruy lopez, either centre attack or morphy style, or if you are rated low, I may try and spring the danish gambit.

haha
you can't say that you favor a piece above the other
you may favor knights over bishops, but if the need is to sacrifice your knights and gain a better position will you not do it?

this hole favourite piece idea seems pointless. I love my queen more than any other piece so i will remove it from the board so it doesn't get hurt

I like pawns because they start as lowly chess men, and then become queens. They are the most progressive pieces.

That is one of the reason why I like the knight.

I have discovered something! 😲

People who love to play with their queens FALL APART when the queens are off the board and you're into the endgame!

These people also *HATE* knights! 😏

Learn the concept of good and bad bishops.. a bad bishop is one that is not influencing the game and cant move freely, perhaps from being trapped behind pawns, so you should aim to create good bishops!
...I love ALL my pieces!
A bad bishop isn't necessarily inactive. If there are center pawns locked on the same color as the bishop, but it's outside the pawn chain, then it is still considered bad but at least it's active.

You think the pawn is the most important piece but you play a gambit?
