This is a tricky one, as i'm sure you all have quite a few that are your favourites. But be brutal, which one is the best?

After winning this one I thought that maybe there was hope for me. There isn't, but it was a nice thought. I liked how I was able to predict that he would play g5-g4 eventually and let me put my knight on f5 via h4.

My opponent blundered, but I was still satisfied with my play, and the fact that I felt I knew what to do.

Nice game, nice coordination between the pieces.

Not a perfect game by any means but proper knife-edge stuff. Allowing 21. Bxa7 and the resulting queen side attack was a pure oversight but it made for a right ding-dong battle.

I've never thought so hard during a game since.

Edit: pretty sure most of it's sound once the attacks start too!

Wow that's a cracker! I thought 13..Bg4 14.Qe3 ..e5 looked pretty strong fr black. Any particular reason you avoided ..e5?

Thanks. That's not a line that occurred to me - too scary having that much space in front of an uncastled king. I think I was just trying to prepare to castle queenside by that point.

Well there's certainly nothing wrong with the way you played it, i was just surprised you didn't claim d4/f4 with the pawn. Nice game

    Not my best but memorable

    Game 4168577

The first multi themed tactic that stuck with me. I bragged to all my chess friends.

    Game 414954

    My quickest mate.

    Game 2230489

    most memorable.

My best internet CC game I ever played is lost among the mists of gameknot never to be seen again.

I have made some annotations for my game number 9580564, but I'm having trouble posting the pgn (with annotations) on here.

It will let me post the game without annotations, but not with... how do I get round this problem?

Ok I think I know why my above mentioned game wouldn't post... I had clicked 'publish annotations' and for some reason it wont let me copy-paste the PGN from there.
...To be honest i don't even know what I accomplished by publishing them.

Anyhoo this is a different game, with annotations, and because I never pressed the publish annotations button, it is letting me do it this time.

The Philidor's defense was played, and it was a pretty looking win for me, albeit made easy due to poor moves.

p.s. my apologies for mentioning 2 games... I would say this one is my best, purely due to the nice looking mate... but in terms of quality, the other game may be better

Nice mate at the end! Didn't see that till you played it. Funnily enough you could have done it from move 21.

I think this is one of my best games, because I was in complete control.

    B: durienb (1941)

Thanks and actually I couldn't, because if I went for it at that point, then:

    21. a3 Bxd2

...and I couldn't recapture with rook, cos that would bring Re1 mate! so g3 was a safety precaution in case he decided to take my Knight
