Fritz 10 is about £30, I saw Fritz 9 on amazon.co.uk for £12.

Which Fritz should I buy? I'm just interesting in playing a few games against it, analysing some of my games through it and maybe a few tutorials. Although you never know, perhaps there's heaps in there that I just don't know about.

so, is the extra wonga worth it for Fritz 10?

In short no, there isnt a very big difference between fritz 6 and fritz 10

Not better then fritz but if you are looking for free chess programs you can play against, there are lots out there. They are pretty strong also and can beat most players.
