Edit: And usually in tournaments and clan games etc. you play both white and black against your opponent..

Everybody seems to agree that white has an advantage.
Of course in tournaments, players are forced to play black and white alternately.
On this site though, it is possible for a player to NEVER play black!
It seems a logical and painless step to introduce a ratings calculation bonus for black. This may encourage ratings obsessed players to play black more often.

Now look at the rating breakdown, I'm 74th out of nearly 8000 players who have moved in the last 100 days. If that's the case with my games it's also the case with the majority of players rated lower than me. Why should an adjustment be added when the difference is really only evident to the very very top of players on the site. I hesistate to say when it becomes a big deal but I'd guess it's somewhere around page 2 of the rating list. 30 players. Out of nearly 8000.

if you guys suck with black pieces it is your problem, dont blame anything else. white advantage is so slight, that it should not make difference...at least at that level we patzers are playing.
