I played a practice game at club last night. G/60 + 15 second delay. All in all it was very interesting though I disagree greatly with some of my opponents early moves.
However, he has just exchanged queens (killing my attack) and now has played Kd7 to break two pins. How do you continue?
Disclaimer: I (really) like my idea, but I cannot guarantee it's right so I would like to see what other people come up with. I will post my idea in a couple of hours.

Probably you played Nxe4...on Anyxd4 you can play Rxd4 Anyxd4 and Bh3+ Ke8 forced Re1 getting B pair+2 nice pawns for R+B
the game might continue Kf8 Rxe4 Re8 Be6 and white can go on with f5-f6
I did play Nxe4 with that intention. However the game continued
Nxe4, Nxe4, Rxe4, Rae8 when I had to give back a pawn to reach a rook + dark square bishop ending which I won. I think with proper play my opponent could have drawn that due to the much improved placement of his pieces, but I am still looking for concrete lines.
btw congrats on finding that so fast. It took me 18 minutes of game time.

Originally posted by ouwe belgI considered it, but it seems very slow. The main difference between that and my plan is that doesn't leave any good squares for the f1 bishop.
A Nd1-Ne3 maneuver seems strong to me.
I also thought if I was going to improve my knight Nc3-b5-d4 was even better, but his bishop was set to prevent it...

I like Nd1-e3 idea, I think it is winning....
