This honest guy seems to be winner of 2008 championship. Because he will simply timeout other players - he plays incredibly fast without making obvious mistakes.

edit: I would like to point out that he has thrashed me at least a hundred times before my one win.
how did you get to play 100 rapid games with a gm?

Although Phatboy666 (Canabis_Lover on ChessWorld.net - http://www.chessworld.net/chessclubs/showplayerdetails.asp?userid=29857) is clearly an outrageously strong player, you haven't actually beaten him, have you?

I beat a GM rated 2500 in a (timed) simul.

In both our finished games I was clearly overplayed.

For example 22...Re3!! in Game 4246580 was really terrific move.

That was a really interesting game. At first site, Black's rook on c3 looks completely trapped, but in fact all of White's pieces are tied up keeping it trapped! Black's exchange sac, 28. ... gxh4 was the sign of a really strong player, I wouldn't have even looked at that possibility.

Have you tried running this game through a strong engine to see if Black's play starting with 22. ... Re3 was sound, or whether White had some of way of refuting it?

Of course I did run that game with engines - 22...Re3 is 1st choice of Fritz and Rybka.

Not counting the masters I have beaten in internet blitz/bullet games, I think my highest scalps in rated OTB tournament games are ~2400 (blitz) and 2150 in regular time controls.

Yeah. What was wrong with the dwarf? Or the dancing banana for that matter?

Phatboy666 is on course to be 2008 Champion without doubt. He either has too much time on his hands and spends all day analysing every game or he is in fact Rybka in disguise! 😉 He never ever makes a mistake and always finds the strongest move in every position.
