my father-in-law who was rated over 1800 at one time. I now take 1 out of 3 or 4 from him. It kills him that I won even once, never mind at least once everytime we play.

Was a training partner for GM Hebden - Played 100's of games when he had 1 min against my 5 min. It was his preferred training technique for time trouble - I probably scored 25% if that.

Only have 1 real win against an IM to my name

I have beaten a Russian WGM and a number of IMs OTB. I have also beaten a GM but that was in a simultaneous game.

It was back in the mid 1980s when I was somewhat better than I am now.
