A long time ago and a pretty quick game but after Game 2146679 is it any wonder I decided to try out a few more Kings Gambits. Game 2 was 1 move longer (Game 2146698) but I guess it helps if your opponent gives you a queen on move 8. It wasn't long before my opponents knew I would slaughter then with standard openings so soon they tried some novel attacks (Game 2187876 and Game 2188280). Of course before too long I got complacent and contrived to play my KG moves in the wrong order in Game 2147039 giving me a very lucky escape and a determination not to rush again. By the time I got to my 13th game I was getting over confident, I expected easy wins, surely I could play anything so I played quickly (he did want a "rapid game" after all) and in Game 2187865 I grabbed one pawn too many for my first loss. 10 games later and in Game 2188029 I chalked up my 2nd loss and with it a determination that I must take all you guys seriously from now on.
Not the first I started, but it finished first: Game 1058657. Yikes!
I think this was the first game I started: Game 1058600. I remember that my opponent offered me a draw on move 6. 😉
