My main strategy is not to get mated directly out of the opening.

The only thing that I try to keep in mind is to exchange pieces ASAP, in order to get an endgame of pawns. The first exchange has to be if possible the Queens.

I am a fighter. Though sometimes I get very lazy and make the first move that occurs to me.

I am usually most comfortable when I'm on the attack. I'll often gambit to get an attack going.

I guess I am a republican. I hate the royal family.

I point things at the King, I open files and diagonals v the King,
I sac pieces to mate the King. I hound, persecute and hunt the King.

If I cannot get to the King then I annoy the Queen.

My style? I like closed and interlocked games and slow building attacks. Always most happy when I convert a tiny opening advantage into a grinding, hard fought win. In the back of my mind lies a lingering regret. I wish I still had the burning passion for chess that I did in years past, it's still there sometimes, but not always. On my best days I'm average (about 1600 RHP) on my worst, I'm embarrassed at myself. 😛

Start of timid and then explode!
eg Reti (quiet) turning into Reti gambit or Tennyson Gambit.
Pirc Defence with various aggressive options (all unsound)
Czech Benoni with cavalier king-side sacrifices
