How much more available capacity is there is in twenty four-gallon cans that are half full than in twenty-four gallon cans that are half empty?

I'd say it's just a matter of being optimistic or pessimistic 😛

    No difference?

Twenty half-full four-gallon cans have forty gallons space available (20*2). A half-empty twenty-four-gallon can has twelve (1*12) gallons available, the difference is 28 gallons (40-12).
