    The solution of the first puzzle was that White is only adjusting the N on e4, so he's free to play Kxf3 "mate" [it's only mate if you ignore the illegal position].

    Sorry i didn't explain it better but when I said he touches the knight again I actually meant his king touches the knight. You know because he just took the rook. So white's king would be touching the edge of his knight. And black couldn't take white's knight because it was being protected by it's King.

    Of course 'only he's touched the knight' - why would his opponent have touched it? (that would have been illegal :~)
