owh wait, I saw that puzzle but I had to stop 5 minutes after it, and the day after that one, I forgot to look. I must stop in a minute too, I'll solve it tomorrow, promise πŸ˜€
edit: But your right, in the minutes when I tried him, he was very difficult! πŸ˜›

THIS PUZZLE WAS REALLY GREAT, it took me around 45 minutes to solve it.
The solution is: 1 and 5 are true

T 1. This is a numbered list of twelve true-or-false statements. easy , of course it's true
F 2. Exactly three of statements 7-12 inclusive are true. none of them
F 3. Exactly two of the even-numbered statements are true. none of the even-numbered
F 4. If statement 5 is true then statements 6 and 7 are both true. 6 and 7 aren't both true
T 5. Statements 2-4 inclusive are all false. that's true
F 6. Exactly four of the odd-numbered statements are true. 2 of them
F 7. Either statement 2 or 3 is true - but not both of them. both false
F 8. If statement 7 is true then statements 5 and 6 are both true. 7 is false so then this doesn't matter (or am I wrong here??? now I look for second time this one is true... because IF 7 is true then those would must be true, but 7 is false...)
F 9. Exactly three of statements 1-6 inclusive are true. 2 of them
F 10. The following two statements are both true. both false
F 11. Exactly one of statements 7, 8 & 9 is true. all false
F 12. Exactly four of the other statements are true. just 2

I'll edit this one soon for the correct solution

EDIT:

This is the solution (I hope)

1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 11 are true

T 1. This is a numbered list of twelve true-or-false statements. true
F 2. Exactly three of statements 7-12 inclusive are true. Just 2
T 3. Exactly two of the even-numbered statements are true. 2 and 4
T 4. If statement 5 is true then statements 6 and 7 are both true. 5 = false
F 5. Statements 2-4 inclusive are all false. 2 = true
T 6. Exactly four of the odd-numbered statements are true. 1,3,7,11
T 7. Either statement 2 or 3 is true - but not both of them. 2 = false, 3 = true
F 8. If statement 7 is true then statements 5 and 6 are both true. 7 = true, but 5 = false
F 9. Exactly three of statements 1-6 inclusive are true. 1,3,4,6 so 4
F 10. The following two statements are both true. 12 = false
T 11. Exactly one of statements 7, 8 & 9 is true. 7=true 8,9=false
F 12. Exactly four of the other statements are true. 6, 1,3,4,6,7,11

I don't like this any more today πŸ˜‰ It took me more than 100 minutes... It's a great difficult puzzle, a bit to difficult for 1 day... But I promised

Well done, Florrat.
(Pity you didn't give any method.)

---------------------------------------

Debra said to Bernie: "I am 9 years older than Ella."
Ella said to Bernie: "I am 7 years older than Ava."
Ava said to Bernie: "Your age is precisely 70% greater than mine."
Bernie said to Carla: "Ella is younger than you"
Carla said to Debra: "The difference between our ages is 6 years."
Carla said to Ava: "I am 10 years older than you."
Carol said to Ava: "Bernie is younger than Debra."
Bernie said to Carla: "The difference between your age and Debra's age is the same as the difference between Debra's age and Ella's age."

Given that all of the above ladies spoke truthfully when talking to an older woman and lied when talking to a younger woman, what are their actual ages?

lol, that's exactly the only thing I already figured out, yes she lies to her because if she spoke the truth she must be younger, and then she lied.
So Carla is older than Ava

There is not enough information provided to determine their ages.

Yes there is. However, in a world where you have more recs than me, I suppose anything is possible.

What do recs matter? And the implications of your statement is immature at best.
