    1. There was a man who lived on a cliff by the sea. Every day he liked to walk to the edge of the cliff and listen to the sounds of the ocean, such as the sea gulls, the waves, the buoy bells... One day after a terrible storm the buoy had blown out to see. The man not knowing the buoy was gone walks off the cliff and dies. Why?

    2. A dead man is found in the middle of a field. He is completely naked but he is still clutching a straw. There are no obvious signs of death and there are no foot prints or other tracks leading to the body. How did he get there and how did he die?

yes/no questions only... and please state which problem the question is for, although it will probably be self evident.

I think, the chap who lives by the sea is blind.

He kept walking till he heard bouy bell. Not hearing the
bell he thought he was nowhere near the cliff edge.

    The second one.

He was beaten up and stripped naked by angry field mice.
He tried to fend them off with a straw.

Is that the right correct answer?

    1. He is blind.

    2. He was an aid worker delivering straw to a 3rd world country by plane. The door accidently opened - he grabbed at the straw - and fell to his death.

    2. He drowned. He was swimming and a helicopter with a giant bucket picked him up. The field was on fire. Something like that.

The first one is right but the second one is not even close to the variation I know... nice try though. lol

none of you have the second one right... though some kind of flying "vehicle" may be involved in it...

He was raped by a man with a box of straws and then poisoned. The man didn't get rid of the evidence.

no, he wasn't breathing through it
    no, he wasn't a hippie
    no, he wasn't raped

He went to sleep in a field.

    Moths ate his clothes. He looked at what he was holding and said;

"This is the last straw." He died.

    Is that it?

    Is that the right answer?

The second guy jumped out of an air-balloon to save his friend, they were too heavy loaded and going to crash, even taken his clothes off did not give the required weight ballence. To decide whom has to jump out, straws were drawn and, obviously, the dead bloke won.

I think other, funnier, solutions are possible though!

If he fell from such a height that he died of it, it seems unlikely that the fall hadn't left any traces on his body (which I guess would go under 'obvious signs of death'.
