your right... stalemate though becasue white is in check and if white takes the rook it is stalemate... and if he goes Ka2, Ra3+, Kb2 Ra1+ (stalemate) and I don't see where white can run to without getting checked constantly.

I think it's ingenious. I had to work pretty hard in order to find the truth about that position.
