This week the TV news mentioned a 3D printer foodmaker that is supposed to become available in 2014 for $1,400 US. If it catches on, I imagine prices will come down.

Perhaps one day 3D printers will be able to print more bigger and better 3D printers which can then print yet more of them and then you can make anything including printing out your new home complete with walls, roof, plumbing, electrics and furniture and a brand new wife/husband (depending on your sex and sexuality ). It would be the end of poverty 😉
