Both, until they had it figured out and the safe sex message could get out lives would have been saved.

Spanish Flu had much greater deaths than this thing.
Time will tell. Obviously we're trying to use improved preventative measures to PREVENT the death and misery that occurred in 1919. Maybe it's working...

Luckily we have Sweden as a control group. If we did not then all sorts of horror stories about had bad it would have been..yada yada yada

So far, the only horror stories are from locked down areas.
