    Excellent work from China! They call them 'nanotwins' used in making diamonds.

    Harder than normal diamonds and stable at 1000 degrees C!

    Everything gets better using these diamonds if they can get industrial scale levels of production, like drill heads for mining, ultra high pressure anvil presses, even needles for vinyl record players.

    Interesting that they are claiming it is tougher than a single crystal would be.
