    Don't forget, that is for openers. That technology could be used on sailing ships too.
    I dreamed of sails that were solar cells also. Adding piezo would make for that much more energy.
    I was thinking a sail ship where the sails were also solar, could charge batteries that could get you out of the doldrums without having to fire up a fossil fuel engine. Get you into port when there was no wind.

    I wonder if that kind of tech would ever be legal on the America's cup? Power only from the sun and wind, no fossil fuel burning.
