International diplomacy is not the strength of the human species ....

What can we do?

Each country can sit back and say "sure it needs to be done, but we will not cut our emissions growth until those other countries do first".

Well our international diplomacy is certainly better than that of any other species that I know of.

You might be right ... you seem to be right ...

if we look outside our species ... is there any example of successful large scale diplomacy?

what hope do we have?

to desparately clutch for a hope, do we need to look at:
1/the flourohydrochloroflooro thingumijigimees and the ozone hole
2/apartheid
2.5/does the cold war "i will kill you if you kill me" count as a pathetic success?
