    It's coming up on the 400th anniversary of Galileo's pointing a telescope up to the heavens so there is a push to make next year the international year of astronomy. Nice video on this site also.

    Have you seen the Hubblecast podcasts that ESA/Hubble puts out. They are well done.
    Right now they are doing a special series on telescopes to commemorate the year of astronomy.
