    It depends, because 1 + 1 does not always equal 2. For example in binary arithmetic 1 + 1 = 1 0, because there is only 0 and 1.

Now you proved pretty well that things are not what they appear to be. Like the bible isn't true, the Koran is the ultimate truth, and the Texans baptists are morons.

I unblocked you posts by accident again so I just respond to this:

10 in binary IS 2 in decimals you stupid ignorant moron!

How stupid can you get! Did you really think that 1+1 can equal ten! 😛

In normal decimal mathematics, 1+1=2 is ALWAYS true! No exceptions!

The worse part of that is not so much that he knows very little (the ignorant can always be forgiven for being ignorant providing it is not through stupidity ) but rather, despite that, he still delusionally arrogantly thinks he knows better than all the scientists and experts and he has often been really condescending and opinionated about it typically refusing to answer questions or debate anything.

A long time ago, I was a carer for adults with learning disabilities. They had about the same level of knowledge as he does but without any of the delusions or arrogance and I had nothing but total respect for them. I think I don't mind ignorance much by itself but rather delusional arrogance which is something I can never respect especially when it is combined with ignorance.

    I totally agree with you.

Of course there are fields that I don't know much about. But then I listen and learn. Or don't participate at all. And noone minds.

Just out of curiosity, what do you think 10 indicates in binary arithmetic?

He doesn't know. He is RJHinds. And he is a YEC. What do you expect...?

Maybe he will use his fingers to add them up🙂

I just had a thought: Could a man with just one finger count in binary?

    Yes.

Finger up = 1. Finger down = 0. But using his only finger he can only count up to 1. Which anyway is one more than RJHinds.

Would an intelligent starfish have a pental number system?
What would an intelligent millipede have?

I can just imagine an intelligent starfish counting; lifting the tip of each leg one at a time.

yes, but it helps to have two to do finger gestures.

I did not say 1 + 1 = 10 (ten). I put a space between the one and the zero, so that any intelligent person could see the difference. There is no 2 in the binary system, as I already pointed out.

I think what you really mean is what does the binary 1 0 (one and zero) mean in the base ten system? It means 2 in base ten. Ain't I tricky.

So it doesn't represent 2 in binary?
