What are the theories on why the lines of craters and streaks exist? It's really pretty striking. Any idea?

It's suggested that it was caused by impacts from Mars. Mars undergoes collisions in space and debris gets knocked up creating these streak like crater chains on Phobos

Edit: I guess the Stickney crater was thought at one time to correlate with these grooves since they seem to stretch out from there.
