Ah, was wondering what you were on about. The news about macular degeneration and the help given by melatonin is new and I did not hear for instance what dosage they were talking about, once a day? Twice? Nothing about that stuff.
For instance, a normal young human produces some 1/4th of a microgram of the stuff daily and the doses I see are like instead of 250 MICROGRAMS, the bottle goes, 5 MILLGRAMS, 10 MILLIGRAMS and such, when a HALF milligram would be twice the dose a young human produces with not much need for anything more than that and to shove 5000 micrograms or 10,000 micrograms when you only need say 1/20th or so of that is WAY overboard and research has shown that much dose has negative consequences as well.
