It seems Helioseismology is a new science of figuring out deep flows of jet streams inside the sun, great new work. It is showing that the new solar cycle is getting underway, maybe a year late, not leading to a new little ice age after all. Great for amateur radio also, the ionosphere has sucked for a few years now, not much in the way of DX.
