May not be many here at RHP that live in this area of the earth, ( I do in Vancouver WA across the Columbia River from Portland OR ) but some sobering facts on a mega quake happening here soon .

We still go to the coast as it's so beautiful but still always know the closest escape routes. But that's only good if the earthquake doesn't destroy the roads or bridges or have one of possible thousands of landslides that are expected all over from I-5 west.

We are in Vancouver WA which is a good hour and a half east but still high damage is expected here too. So we have about 60+ gallons of water and many containers of emergency supplies stored. One never knows......
