    we have more than five

they don't really deliver the true dope

So for debate fans, I give two claims. Spoiler: the world is not as it seems to us.

So to make this a good debate about senses...
Why not defining first - what is a sense?

Sense = some biological reaction to external environmental stimulation, noise, light burst, touch, smell, taste and the rest.

    I found this:
"The commonly held definition of a “sense” is “any system that consists of a group of sensory cell types that respond to a specific physical phenomenon and that corresponds to a particular group of regions within the brain where the signals are received and interpreted."
    in http://www.todayifoundout.com/index.php/2010/07/humans-have-a-lot-more-than-five-senses/
but I can imagine there are far more than these...

How about the minds ability to sense patterns?

And by this I mean patterns other than the usual (easily identifiable) objects we are accustomed to seeing. Tuning in recognizable patterns found in Magic Eye pictures is a good example of what I mean.

I hope you are wrong, on two counts:
    1) It's an interesting topic, or at least has the potential to be if...
    2) ... it doesn't turn into an idiotic 'debate' where all we see is:

    • Yes it is!
    ° No, it isn't.
    • Yes, yes it is.
    ° no - it - is - NOT
    is
    ° Who says?
    ME, that's who!
° My pokeballs are bigger than your pokeyballs.
    • Your pokeyballs are pathetic!
    ° In your dreams.
    • Oh yeah?
    ° Yeah!
    • Yeah, well... put up or shut up!
    ° Ladies first.

    ad nauseam

° I know I am, but what are you?

HA! You have fallen into my trap as I knew you would because I can anticipate your every move and now you have unwittingly given me the first move. Your undernourished balls, that is to say your pokeballs, will not withstand the mighty power of my first strike. Give up now and admit defeat before you are humiliated on the field of battle and I will allow you to retreat with your dignity unscathed and your pokeballs unharmed because I am a gracious winner and do not wish to cause irreparable damage to your pathetic balls... pokeballs.
