Instead of insulin by shots which are not reliable, not enough and your blood sugar goes way up and too much and you have hypoglycemia.
This new method is nanotech pills taken orally where it responds directly to blood sugar levels, putting out more insulin if blood sugar is high and taming down if blood sugar is low.
My wife is diabetic and we have been dealing with the unreliability of insulin injections for decades. This will be a real boon if it gets out of the laboratory stage and into the real world.

I was thinking the exact same thing for my wife. It sounds like magic for a molecule to have feedback inherent in it, more insulin released or less depending on that molecule measuring the glucose level, sounds like science fiction.
