I just got a novel idea. Why doesn't Russ have a contest where the first person to win 50 public tournaments or even a combination of private and public wins a year extension of their RHP sub.

Prizes and such have been decided to be a bad idea, it gives incentive to cheat for some users.
That is why ideas like this are not considered (in the past anyway).
Similar ideas were Mugs and Tee Shirts for tourneys, free subscriptions to non subs in non sub tourneys, etc.
The person who sends in the most 'Fair Play Tickets' that actually
catches a cheat gets an RHP t-shirt.
Hmmm.....
You would get people so eager to own an RHP t-shirt they would
open up loads of accounts and then grass on themselves to obtain
a high score.
So foiled again by the cunning sly minds of chess players.....
How about a competition for the person who thinks up the best competition. π
No1 is owed several Tee-shirts based on his performance before the fair play era of Game Moderation. I believe he's given up if I remember our last chat about catching cheats at RHP.
