Maybe only players who actually play chess here are allowed to post.

EG - you haven't moved once a day for 7 days - you cannot post, or something similar.

I await the onslaught!!!!!!

Or maybe on the left hand profile have Joined, Moves and Latest move shown. Less Draconian than your suggestion but non-playing forum contributors are nonetheless left exposed.

I don't think not playing any games,or not moving affects the ability to post on the forums.I may be wrong.I do know you are limited to the number of pm's you can send if you are a non sub.

I am in favor of booting trolls off the site, but not by this means. Any threshold you might pick would both:

a) catch too many dolphins in the tunafish net (I consider myself to be in that category--look up my stats, if you care enough about it); and

b) be too easy for dedicated trolls to circumvent.

Trolls, like Japanese knotweed, always finds a way.
